Leann Williams, Christian Author, Songwriter, and Speaker, is dedicated to spreading words of faith, hope, and love through her writing and speaking engagements. With a passion for Christian values and storytelling, Leann's mission is to inspire and uplift individuals on their spiritual journey. Her work resonates with readers and listeners, offering a source of encouragement and inspiration in their daily lives. Through her blog, Leann shares her personal experiences, insights, and reflections, aiming to create a community centered around faith, positivity, and personal growth.

With a career spanning over three decades, my journey has been dedicated to educational leadership and the empowerment of strategic planning in nonprofit settings. Service is at the heart of everything I do and it motivates me.  I have leveraged my three college degrees to drive innovative instructional design and strategic planning processes that enhance educational experiences.  And, in my role on the Boards of Directors with Omega Phi Alpha and the OPhiA Foundation, I've honed my skills in nonprofit governance, complementing my expertise in being able to give back to my community in a meaningful way. My mission involves crafting solutions that address educational challenges and overseeing projects that manifest the organizational vision into tangible results.

 

Along the way, I was able to prioritize having a thriving and fulfilling spiritual life in my home church, First Baptist Church New Port Richey, in New Port Richey, Florida, as a Women’s Ministry Volunteer, Sunday School Teacher, VBS leader, and Ministry Assistant.  My career in education was also with Christian Schools, so every lesson, every day had a Christian component to the topic.  After writing, teaching and sharing all these ideas, lessons and programs, I was encouraged to put it all into a book and that became Desert Rose.  I was supported by my wonderful husband of 35 years, Scott, and three sons, Ryan, Carter and Grant.
